"My husband and I have been with Phil Pettit's State Farm office since November of 2001. We wouldn't go anywhere else. We buy all of our insurance here. Phil is easy to talk to and works hard to keep us informed. His office staff are pleasant and nice to work with. We are always treated with respect and professionalism.

"I had a very disappointing experience with this office today, particularly with the office manager, Maria. I was upset about declined transaction fees I didn’t realize I had, and instead of listening or showing any empathy, she repeatedly cut me off and talked over me.
All I was looking for was to have the situation resolved in a polite and helpful way, but instead, she was rude and dismissive. Times are already hard, and I was simply trying to express my frustration about the unexpected charges, but the way she handled the conversation made me feel dumb for not knowing about the hidden fees. I ended up resolving the issues myself by taking myself off automatic payments. I was calling for help but I hung up feeling even worse than I felt before I called.
For someone in a managerial position, I would truly expect more patience and professionalism. I hope this feedback helps improve how customers are treated in the future.
To end all this, I would have appreciated my insurance company having my back 100% of the way — not 25%, not 50%, but fully, the way good insurance should. Unfortunately, that’s not how I felt with this experience."
